For over 50 years, St. Hilary School has been more than just an educational institution. It has been a second home to generations of families who share a commitment to faith, family and academics.
St. Hilary School serves children from preschool to eighth grade and works to meet the needs of the whole child. At its core, the school strives to develop the intellectual, spiritual, social/emotional, and technological skills necessary to prepare them for the next phase of their education at a high school of their choice.
FAITH – The students of St. Hilary School are joined in a community of faith. They are challenged to embrace thevalues that Jesus taught: faith in God, prayer and service, love and respect for self and others, compassion andresponsibility, peace and justice. These values are woven throughout the entire curriculum. This integration of values and academics enables each student to grow as a whole person – mind, body and spirit.
FAMILY – It’s not often a school sees three generations of students, but at St. Hilary it’s not uncommon. School families feel an incredible sense of community and pride, which is a crucial part of its culture and success. Opportunities for family involvement are offered and encouraged throughout the year. From the Family School Association to the Men’s Club, there is something for everyone. This strong sense of family is why St. Hilary School remains a strong academic institution on the northside of Chicago.
ACADEMICS – St. Hilary emphasizes a challenging core curriculum and seeks to provide a comprehensive education that engages all students in meaningful learning. Their dedicated and talented teachers provide outstanding academic programs which nurture discovery and challenges the students to become life-long learners. The school’s C.A.M.P.S. program begins in preschool with instruction in computers, art, music, physical education and Spanish.
