Caritas Scholars Program for New Students

Starting in the summer of 2014, St. Hilary School was fortunate to be selected to be part of a
pilot financial assistance program through our relationship with the Archdiocese of Chicago and
in conjunction with the launch of the Archdiocese’s To Teach Who Christ Is Capital Campaign.
The primary goal of awarding Caritas Scholar Awards is to provide need-based assistance to
families who are committed to enrolling in our Catholic schools but who may need a bit of help
in covering the cost of tuition and fees.  The financial aid awards can cover up to 50% of tuition
and are renewable for three years as long as a family qualifies for the assistance and they follow
the commitments and responsibilities of accepting the financial aid.   We hope new families will
see this financial assistance program as a wonderful resource in helping make their hope for a
Catholic school education a viable reality.
Applications for admissions for new students are available through this link
http://bit.ly/1RMnXpM (English) and http://bit.ly/200sR5r (Spanish).  All applicants must
complete the financial aid application on FACTS as well; there is a link to FACTS on the
homepage of our website http://school.sthilarychicago.org/ on the right side.  Please know that applying
for financial aid through Caritas Scholars will not have any bearing on applications for
admission.

Big Shoulders Fund

The Big Shoulders Fund offers a number of scholarships four our students.  Eligibility is based on financial need.  All families must complete the FACTS Financial Aid application to be considered.
