Here are the many clubs and activities available for students while attending St. Hilary:

 

  • Art Studio

    • Students are given an opportunity to plan and develop their own works of art outside of class. They can work in many different types media and can order supplies they would like to use. Sessions for younger children run periodically during the year as well. These classes are a bit more structured and provide a chance for students to work in a multi grade group using materials they may not use during their regular classes like clay and acrylic painting on canvas.

  • Eco Warriors

    • Student volunteers sort and recycle aluminium and  #1 plastic containers collected by the school for the Pepsico Recycling Challenge?

  • Golf Club

    • A two season activity that initiates 5th -8th grade students with the basics of golf. Students learn golf etiquette, rules, and basic swings of golf. Students practice once a week at a local driving range and play weekly at a local 9 hole par 3 golf course.

  • Green Team

    • Students in grades 5 and 6 recycle paper for the school.

  • Instrumental Music Clubs

    • Cadet Band (4th/Beginning Players)

    • Concert Band (5-8)

    • Ukulele Club (3-8)

    • Private music instruction is available for Beginning Piano, Beginning Guitar, ukulele, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion.

  • Running Club

    • Students in grades 6-8 run three times a week with teacher supervision. Running Club encourages physical activity, promotes healthy living, and develops team atmosphere by running together. Members participate in local 5k-Color Run and Hot Chocolate Run.

  • Science Club

    • A weekly club for grades 7 and 8 whose mission is to assist students in learning more about science and providing an opportunity for students to design and build science projects or experiments.

  • Vocal Music Clubs

    • Joyful Noise (Choir for grades 1-3)

    • Cardinal Choir (Grades 4-8)

    • CODAs(Select students in grades 7-8)
